For many students, Canada is a favored educational destination. The best aspect is that by studying in Canada, a student instantly becomes a member of a worldwide alumni network, which he or she may use at any point in his or her career. For international students, the cost of living and tuition costs are typically lower than in other nations such as the United States and the United Kingdom. After studying in Canada, there is a good chance of obtaining a Permanent Residency.

International students studying in Canada are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during the school year and full-time during public holidays and vacations. Students’ dependents (spouses/partners) are allowed to work full time. Some Canadian universities and colleges provide programs in which students can work in their related subject as part of their degree and receive credits for it.
If the study program is for a minimum of two years, students are entitled to a Post Study to work visa for a duration of three years. Otherwise, the work permit is valid for the same amount of time as the course.
Visa processing takes around 1 to 2 weeks. To get a student visa, you must demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to cover living expenses, educational expenditures, and course travel. Students must pay the first-semester tuition to the Canadian college in advance under the new SPP visa regulations. In most cases, there is no need for a visa interview.
If a student does not choose the SPP program, the standard visa process will be followed. Complete paperwork and financial verification for the remaining price as well as one year’s worth of living expenses is required.
Candidates are able to apply for permanent residency in Canada under several immigration programs after completing a year of open work permit.
